Bind Runes
Bind-runes are made to use amulets, for protection,luck, and other associations. Many people overlook bind-runes as actual singular runic letters. In which they are combined,(note the name "Bind"). Essentially meaning that bind runes are comprised of several runes. When you combine runes together, they will have multiple magickal meanings. Since each rune has a certain magickal meaning, for an example ansuz helps in wisdom and divination. Since and therefore the rune ansuz is said to be Odin's (the Norse god of Wisdom and Magick). In which certainly makes perfect sense. In a way you can look at bind runes like sigils, only you use the symbols of the runic alphabet you are currently working with like the elder futhark. Rather than creating them from your subconsciousness mind, or rather your imagination.
